Finally, I am in the Christmas spirit!

I went to watch my nieces and nephew go see Santa Claus, something I have done since the birth of the oldest in 2001. We then went and watched one of those houses in a neighborhood where the owner has a radio station that you listen to and he has synced his lights to music. It was tackily interesting and the kids enjoyed, although the middle child was more interested in when we were going to get to McDonald's. So, much like the Grinch, my heart has been pierced by the miracle of Christmas, or at least by watching children enjoy it. Merry Christmas!
