Where has the time gone...was it all but a fever dream?

Many things have transpired since last we at the Variegated Brainstem puked forth our wisdom, wit, and frippery. Tom Waits came to Knoxville, playing the hits we all love so well. The Olympics occurred in China, with the US of A winning a number of different coloured medals. Obama and McCain became the front runners in the presidential race. Hardee's thick burger is more popular than ever.

Hopefully, as the days of future past come back again, the Veeb will be able to provide more insight into all that we are witnesses to in this glorious age. Until then, keep watching the stars!

The Veeb's first and only comments on the election showdown - a simple message to all the candidates...

Dear candidates, Democrat and Republican,

It is only January and the Sunday morning quarterbacking has already begun concerning who is going to win the nominations and who is going to win the election. Through all the discussions and debates and stumping, it is clear that the American people have decided that change and hope are more important virtues in their candidates than experience and managerial panache. The Veeb's editors have but one thing to say, paraphrasing the late, great Pat Paulson:

We've upped our standards,
so up yours!
